Testing Repos

Hi guys,

Haven't been on Fedora for a while now and was wondering where I can find a bleeding-edge repository? I'm specifically looking for newest updates to xserver-xorg-drv-i810 (or the intel ones - for a 965G). Does the testing repository still exist?

I'm also sure I saw an article somewhere discussing a fedora/redhat project which aims to bring more custom rpm's into a new repository - can't remember its name.

Any info/help would be appreciated.

thanks.

There is the updates-testing repository which holds fedora 7 testing packages and the development repository which holds fedora 8 packages. You can enable them like this

yum --enablerepo=updates-testing

yum --enablerepo=development

You can also enable them through yumex and take a look at all the packages they contain.

However you may harm your system installing packages from those repos. Especially if you mix fedora 7 and development (fedora 8 rpms). You choose. :)
