System Logs Missing FC4

I did a "Everything" install of Fedora Core 4 X86_64 - however under system tools there is no System Logs choice, nor is there an option for adding one in the KDE Menu editor - nor do I find system-logviewer in /usr/bin, has this been left out from FC3? It was a cool tool.

I guess I could be smart and see if Yum can find it in a repository and install it, just thought I'd see if someone knew off hand what the deal was.

TYIA!

no, it's not there in fc4. I do have it on fc4 but this is, afaik, merely because i originally installed rhel4 and "yum updated"d to fc4. you can easily just install the fc3 version if you want. much much quicker to just grep /var/log/ entries though. i expect that's why it was revomed, as it was seen as a bit of a toy or gimmick.

Thanks for the quick reply, yeah I'm just lazy, LOL, and for me it was easier to just click the log viewer, and click which one I wanted.

As opposed to su - so I can get into /etc/logs/httpd, then catting the log file, again I'm lazy, so I don't have sudo setup in my profile, well not just lazy, I'm a bit of a newb too, so I'd have to study a bit to make sure I didn't bork things up in my profile. hehe.
