[SOLVED] Strange Gateway: pks2-pop.net.uk

All,

After my Fedora 14 got booted, I typed "route" and was shocked to see the default gateway was set to "pks2-pop.net.uk"! After a few minutes, I did "route" again and now the default gw was set to the one specified in ifcfg-eth0.

Any clue of what's going on?

False alarm!

After talking to our sys admin, I realized that the initial gw was correct but the dns was truncated.

Phew!
