Stopping irqbalance: Failed

Fedora 8

On shutdown --

Stopping irqbalance: Failed

Does anybody know what it is?

And how can I turn Failed into OK?

I have opened a ticket with bugzilla I have received it on every machine I have installed Fedora 8 on. Here is the link below.

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=397901

I am sure it is a bug or something stepping on another process at low level...

It doesn't seem to be causing me any problems but I wouldn't really know because I haven't had this distro installed for very long and haven't been using Linux for quite awhile before I installed Fedora.

Is it causing any problems for you?

I do not believe it is causing any problems but from what I understand of it irqbalance is very low level so it could possible cause a problem that we may not notice but the operating system may encounter strange errors?

I have not got a reply back from Bugzilla - Red Hat's bug tracking system so I am kind of interested to see what they say is going on it will help understand the OS underpinnings a bit more.
