Start a Yum Repository

Hello Everyone,

I've been looking everywhere on information about starting my own Repo. I need it for local yum updates so I don't clog my own lines. Does anyone know of any good websites with instructions or HOWTOs on how to set one up? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Google search for "create yum repos". The results show several articles that may help you.

I'm looking for something specific because I've tried searching. Maybe a website that someone has already found. Thanks anyway.

Apparently my searching skills suck. Just using the "create yum repo" worked just fine.

Sigh*, when seemingly large problems turn out to be something small...

I wrote this solution a while back for someone that wanted to create a local repository. Depending on what you want to do it should give you the basics to set one up. Set Up and Configure a Local Repository The createrepo command is the way to go in FC6. If you still need more help, just ask.
