sppedtouch usb modem under fedora
 

i'm a newbie of fedora and i'm going to try to install this usb modem and i already know that linux and usb peripherials does not go very well together. several suicide cases are reported ;-)
anyone out there have any good suggestion for me before i start?

The speedtouchconf package worked first time for me on Fedora http://speedtouchconf.sourceforge.net/
If you haven't got a copy of the mgmt.o binary driver you can get one in this tarball from Thompson http://download.ethomson.com/download/speedmgmt.tar.gz

ok, so far. i'm ready to try but i still miss one info. VPI/VCI number. i don't know what it is nor who can i ask for it.

just to say i've completed the speedtouch configuration prcedure.
everything was ok. no problem with the script.
