Sound Drivers for Intel Desktop Board D915GAV
 

Hello guys,

I am looking for sound card drivers for my pc with Intel motherboard D915GAV, I tried at Intel.com and ALSA. but no result.

Have you tried the Soundcard Detection under the Fedora menu System Settings? What does it say?

When I clicked on System Setting for sound card detection- it gives me message No sound card detected.

i tried to install sound drivers availabe at intel.com but as it was for kernel 2.4, it created problem for linux to get up.

It goes in loop when linux start it's Xserver.

could you please help me, how could I uninstall sound driver ---- for kernel 2.4

Hi friends Me 2 Facing the similar kind of problem i am able to hear the sound after running the AUDIO_LINUX_1.5_BETA.sh from intel's website. but unable to get the clear sound quality.... i.e. it is broken with lots of noise and disturbances.

any suggestions plz
