hi guys,+
i am getting sound playback problesm (cracks, pops and sparks) with FC2.

i've followed this instructions, but problem continuous anyway:

http://www.fedorafaq.org/#sound-pops
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_t...Audio_problems

Code:
cat /proc/asound/cards
0 [CMI8738 ]: CMI8738 - C-Media CMI8738
                      C-Media CMI8738 (model 37) at 0xb800, irq 21

/sbin/lsmod | grep -c snd
13

lspci|grep audio
01:00.0 Multimedia audio controller: C-Media Electronics Inc CM8738 (rev 10)
may you give me tips in order to solve this problem ?

thanks in advance!

hector

Umm, Fedora Core 2 is 6 years old. Is that really what you're running?
