I am not familiar with your hardware & way out of touch with FC but I would start by opening a terminal, su to root & run:

alsaconf

That may be all you need to do.

I found this:

# Example modprobe.conf entries for my Audigy
alias snd-card-0 snd-emu10k1
install snd-emu10k1 /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install snd-emu10k1 && /usr/sbin/alsactl restore >/dev/null 2>&1 || :
remove snd-emu10k1 { /usr/sbin/alsactl store >/dev/null 2>&1 || : ; }; /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove snd-emu10k1

I read that the snd-emu10k1 module is the one that this card use. How can I install the module.

Other Info

[root@localhost ~]# modinfo soundcore
filename: /lib/modules/2.6.12-1.1390_FC4smp/kernel
description: Core sound module
author: Alan Cox
license: GPL
alias: char-major-14-*
vermagic: 2.6.12-1.1390_FC4smp SMP 686 REGPARM 4KS
depends:
srcversion: E11490DC3F523551C4C2A6D

I try alsaconf in Mepis and it function well (the command no the card). What is the equivalent in FC4?
