snd card / mic problem

hi all..

i've got a little problem with my mic.. its plugged into the card which is registered as dsp1, but in fedora it seems to belong to dsp
thats a problem because i'd like to use the mic with my headset (@dsp1), but the program i use does not support different sounddevices for in/output so i can choose between mic or headset, but not both together..

so how can i make the mic belong to dsp1?

[fc2, standart workstation installation + full updates (->kernel 2.6.8 etc)]

Sounds strange, because FC2 uses ALSA primarily, which provides audio devices below /dev/snd. /dev/dsp and friends are old-style OSS compatibility devices. Did you try to create a soft-link from /dev/dsp to /dev/dsp1 or vice versa? Which program do you refer to?
