Slow boot time after update... not upgrade
1 Attachment(s)
(installed from a live cd.)

I updated my computer and added an IDE drive for windows (after installing linux on my sata) and now i am getting slow boot times...

I got my system to boot in 12 seconds after install but now I am stuck with 56 on average.

Mdadm seems to be the problem...

I have no raid arrays so I don't know why it is taking so long... It does say something about scanning and not finding anything...

Hi noahetrex,

My Fed 11 slowed down a little while ago, 20sec boot became 1:30, it turned out to be 'legacy floppy support' in the bios as I have a combo drive bay. I disabled it and all was quick again, may not be related but just in case...

quite possible... My system boots in 1:00 but sometimes boots in 15 to 20
