Slow boot after a Software Update
HI all
I'm a linux novice...
I've installed FC5 on a PC to make a little firewall/Proxy on my lan,
I've configured Squid and Shorewall and everithing was running well.
After I've configured Samba to share a folder on the windows network and also this was running well.
I've launched Software Update and after the update i've rebooted the PC.
Now to start the server needs 50 minutes and I can't find the problem.
Durting the boot I see some error massages on the screen but after is started I don't know where was logged and I can't remember everithing I've read.
I see that the named is the most slow to start and also some error messages are in some rpc services.
Also shorewall the compiling process is very slow.
Where I can find the symptom of the problem?
Anyone can help me?
Thanks in advance
Edika
