SLOOOOOOW Graphics

Hi all. I have a PIII 450, 328MB RAM, junky HDD (fast enough tho) Radeon 9500 Pro (with latest drivers installed from the ATI website) SB Audigy card, cd-rw etc etc. Problem is, when I run a game like tux racer or something that uses GL or even halfway decent graphics, they absolutely CRAWL... Its as if my computer isnt using any harware acceleration AT ALL... Anyone know how I can check the installation of my drivers?? where can I find stats on the Vid card within Xwin?

any ideas???

I think you can check that info by typing 'lspci' (for the hardware) and 'lsmod' (for the driver) at the console.

The lsmod command should list the driver if its loaded.

If the commands don't work, try '/sbin/lsmod' or type 'whereis lsmod' to see the correct path. Also, don't type the quotes as part of the command.
