shell script

is it possible to create a shell script that adds a user and password in the passwd and smbpasswd?

Of course, but you might be a little clearer as to what you want to do before anyone can help you too much.

To start with, have you looked at the available scripts to add users to the password databases? Did they not meet your requirements?

I wrote a basic how to start on bash scripts, you may get some idea on how to start, it has redirect output to files and the use of variables

ok it is like this, my client computers are booting over the network i am using k12linux and im using rdesktop to connect from a windows server. so i must create a user using useradd then passwd to create password and also i combine samba for logons from windows using smbpasswd -a <user>. so i want to simplify these things using shell script.
