I used text based install when I setup Fedora because the install process did not seem to be able to start in GUI setup. But I installed without any problem. It is just I miss the command line based xf86config that I used when I was using RedHat 8.0. May be I would need the command line based xf86config when my X fail to start properly after installing new graphic card driver later on. It's just as preparation for the any problem that may occur.
I'm using ASUS GeForce 2 MX v7100. I'm currently using the driver provided by ASUS in its official website and it is working well. I've tried the following commands:
xf86config
xfree86config
xf86configurator
xfree86configurator
XFree86Config
XF86Config
and so on...
Is there any extra package that I need to install to have that command line based xf86config?
