Settings LABELS for upgrading ??
I want to upgrade my Fedora 6 to 7, and I understand that the partitions
have to have a LABEL="/" and my VOL00 is not setup as LABEL="/" , but
LABEL="/boot" is, Does SWAP also have to be setup the same way.
How do I make these changes ?
Hdb1 is just a /mnt/backup drive.
Below is the partition table;
$ /sbin/blkid
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol01: TYPE="swap"
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00: UUID="fa771219-e425-4af3-8cc5-5f2978c134c2" SEC_TYPE="ext2" TYPE="ext3"
/dev/hda1: LABEL="/boot" UUID="31d3951d-9ad1-4c85-b178-36b060571d53" SEC_TYPE="ext2" TYPE="ext3"
/dev/hdb1: UUID="27529f00-12f4-4a3a-8ee0-6b774649eb8a" SEC_TYPE="ext2" TYPE="ext3"
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01: TYPE="swap"
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00: UUID="fa771219-e425-4af3-8cc5-5f2978c134c2" SEC_TYPE="ext2" TYPE="ext3"
