Setting View Mode for Dolphin in Fedora

My main OS is Fedora and I've been trying to change the 'View Mode' in Dolphin to Details.
This little thing I've got working but my bigger issue is that I wanna change this for
the entire system or better yet just for one directory and it's subdirs.
I've been trying to do this from time to time for the last 4 or 5 releases of Fedora.
(Even read up on other distro's without any luck)

1. How do I set this for Dir 'X' and it's sub directories?
2. and even set this as a Default View all over the entire system?

(If these are even possible?)

in dolphin
click on
"Settings / configure dolphin"
then in "general" put a check in " use common properties for all folders"
