If you set-up the hosts files on the other computers, it should work without any problems.
You can always access a computer using it's IP...
http://192.168.0.1 A hosts file is like your networks phonebook... It has listings of IP addressesses and host-names to make it simpler than having to type in the IP.
Anytime you type in a host-name, the computer checks your hosts file, then any DNS computer it knows. So, I can ping 64.179.4.146, or ping
www.linuxquestions.org, and it will reach the same computer.
