Setting up Fedora 19 for Logitech wireless mouse/keyboard

I am running a Logitech ex-100 combo wireless mouse/keyboard and I'd like to map the multi-media keys to work.
Both devices work now - although the mouse seems a little slow and laggy.
Does anyone have any suggestion how I can tell the system what keyboard I am using ? It recognizes them (in dmesg) but thinks I have a 105-key keyboard.

It's not Fedora, but try following this. Should still follow the same procedure.

I checked the link and it looks very interesting. I will have a closer look at it.

Thanks very much.
