Set default applications in Fedora

Hi,

Is it possible to set the default applications for mime-types in fedora(gconf-editor?). This would seem pretty standard or easy to do but, I don't see any docs on it.

I use gnome if fc5. If I right click an icon of a particular file type and select "properties" there is an "open with" tab that sets default applications for that file type.
