sendmail - masquerading - hostname issue
Hello and mtia.
I am trying to have sendmail masquerade the domain name of emails being sent out because they are being rejected because it is using the hostname also IE: user@machine.domain.com

I made a new cf file
make -C /etc/mail
I then restart the service
I then send a test email
echo "test" | mail -s "test" testuser@miekungfu.com
Tailing maillog shows it is sent using sendmail. (dsn errors noted)
In the in box of the destination is a rejected mail stating that
reason: 553 sorry, your envelope sender domain must exist (#5.7.1)
Any help is GREATLY appreciated. |
