Segmentation Fault Error with RPM

Hi, I can't seem to install rpm on my Core 5 desktop. I keep getting this message;

Quote:
[bob@localhost ~]$ sudo rpm -Uvh *.rpm
Preparing... Segmentation fault
[bob@localhost ~]$
I have tried to google this message with no luck.

Bob

I read one of the links in that google search that mentioned that, I did not mention it because it is usually not that simple. I guess I was wrong (again).

That's quite alright. You put me in the right direction. I read a few different posts and this one seemed like the one to try first. I'm glad it worked out fairly easy. I've been trying to fix this for about a week now. Thanks again, Bob
