segmentation error

i have server mail on linux fedora but since this afternoon i get this error :"
[root@mail tutu]# /etc/init.d/dovecot
restart
/etc/init.d/functions: line 232: 4341 segmentation error rm -f "${pid_file:-/var/run/$base.pid}"
/etc/init.d/dovecot: line 26: 4342 segmentation error rm -f /var/lock/subsys/dovecot

starting Dovecot Imap : [ OK ]"

meanwhile the server mail is not working
how to fix this problem

Looks like a segfault in 'rm' rather than anything else. What does running 'rpm -Vv coreutils|grep -v "^\.\{8\}";' as root return?
