script backup with multisession dvd


How i make backup with dvd ?

While not necessary, I always use K3b to make backups. I'm not certain how well reading multisession dvd's is supported. You will need to read the README for the package you are using, and test it out (reading all of the files) before relying on it. Some time ago, cdrecord was replaced with a different package for most distro's but I don't know if that is the case for yours.

One option is to use "dar" or multi-part tar (or star) backups and to burn the backup archive. Don't rely on a DVD to be able to record the ownership, permissions, ACLs or even filenames acurately.

Even "tar" may not preserve ACLs, however attributes are saved.

I don't want to use K3b for this job.
I have bouth cdrdao and cdrecord on my distro.
How i make one bash script with these for multisesion dvd?
