rocketraid 1740 - new kernel - depmod

Hello and mtia

Fedora Core 6
RocketRaid 1740 Raid 5+1

Used the driver disk during install and went well.

Updated the kernel from the 2.6.18 to 2.6.22 using yum.

Tried to use depmod to prep the newly installed kernel with the modules needed to recognize the raid controller.

# depmod -F /boot/System.map-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6 2.6.22.9-61.fc6

However I cannot boot the system into the new kernel.

The machine happily reboots back into the older kernel. I am not familiar with depmod so maybe I am doing something wrong?

Thanks again.
