Rhythmbox refuses to open any m4a files

Hi all,

I've been using rhythmbox for a while now without any real problems until now. For some reason, whenever I try to import a folder full of music files, rhythmbox stops loading the files as soon as it comes across an m4a file. Regular play continues and everything is the same except that that the files don't get imported and then the program freezes up when trying to quit.

I really have no idea what's going on since I've been using rhythmbox for about 6 months now without problem. Was there an update to gstreamer a while ago that would have caused this problem? Any help would be great since I am pretty frustrated without my music. Thanks.

Am I to understand I'm the only one with this problem? Any confirmation from somebody who is in the same boat would be good to hear at this point too.
