RH9 default vs FC2T3 - There *are* filesystem changes

I asked earlier if the default filesystem had changed and no one replied, well I just noticed during an install of FC2T3 it has - its now ext3 where before on RH9 it was ext2. I ask because the FC2T3 install is going to serve some of the disks from the old RH9 machines, so whilst I can run with the default ext3 on hda it will serve ext2 on hdb when I install that.

Is this a problem?

Is it possible to convert ext2 to ext3 without a backup-reformat-restore cycle please?

Thanks!
