Remote scheduled task

Is there a way to schedule a task remotely on a Windows machine from a Linux machine?

Have you already searched Samba if it provides utility for that purpose? (something like ported schtasks)

The only thing that comes to mind is google how to use samba to make a network connection to a windows machine. Once you've made the connection, on the windows machine Share the following directory "c:\windows\tasks". That's where you'll place the scheduled tasks so they can be run on the windows machine
