Redhat8.0 switch to Fedora Core

hi,
i'm curious if there is a way i can keep the stuff that is on my Redhat8.0 computer on there but just put fedora over it...I don't think this is likely but i just moved most of my data from other machines to this machine so i could set it up as a server and am running Tomcat, OpenSSH, and Apache JAMES so i would like to keep that without having to transfer everything across my network again...
Is there a way to do this? and if so how or could you give an address to a tut for this?
Thanks!

Run the install and it will check for older versions to upgrade. Who knows, it may upgrade your version without deleting your user files. Essentially Fedora components are just newer versions of the ones you are trying to preserve. It does this check before you ever get to partitioning or anything so not to worry.
