Reconfiguring an interface to run in promiscuous mode with no ip address
 
Hi there --

I am trying to set up a system with two ethernet cards where one card will be sniffing the network as part of an IDS system. I would like to reconfigure the card where it will run in promiscuous mode and not have an ip address. How would I accomplish this? The system is running Fedora Core 2. Thanks.
