re-install or recompile the video card module driver - X Windows

Can you please help me do this from the command line. Right now I am able to only get the system into "linux rescue"

The system is a Fedora 4 installation, the video stopped working with Fedora 3 during an upgrade.

The system is a compaq presario with the following onboard video
