I've recently loaded FC7. I have a Linksys wireless running the ralink RT61 chipset. I've downloaded the ralink driver from serial monkey. As root I've untarred it, gone to Module and tried "make". I receive the error: make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.21-1.3194.fc7/build: No such file or directory. Stop.

I've found several sites with installation instructions. Several speak of unloading the module with "rmmod rt61pci". When I attempt this, as root, I receive the message: bash: rmmod: command not found.

I am aware that I'm missing something, not sure what it is I'm doing wrong. Any help at all would be appreciated.

In order for the module to build, you need to install the kernel-devel package that matches the kernel version you are running. I doubt that there is any need to unload any modules.
