ok from my understanding there is a new release of fedoracore out called stentz? and i would like to upgrade to that if possible they have bittorrents at http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/ they give u a choice between src and binary. does it make a difference witch one i download to burna nd install in place of this version? or is there a way to upgrade to that useing yum? i tried "#yum upgrade" but thats all updates i didnt see a kernel update in the list of 470 some updates. so if there is easy way to get latest FC4 please let me know. also is there a release date for FC% i saw something on it but it didnt say much of anything really.
you want the binary torrent. source is all the uncompiled packages. I never use fedora but i'd guess it's possible to upgrade via up2date or yum, but you'd need to change your relative repositories to use the fc4 ones instead of fc3.
i presume FC% meant FC5... no FC4 is still really recent, not gonna be this year for sure.
yes sorrry bout that FC% was FC5 . im not real sure on how to get the repos i dont have i tried it through yumex and it doesnt add them and i cant really find a guide on how to update repos, or upgrade to newer version. im running FC4 now but it was the first release of it. i updated breezy to colony4 and got the 2006 beta of mandriva and id really like to get lastest of this one too i guess i go for binary thank you.
