Problems with Fonts

If Fedora is suppose to be the largest distribution of Linux. Then why would they not be compatible with their own distro.

I can not get the xnest to work due to a missing fonts.

I get the below error using xnest.

Could not init font path elements /usr/share/X11/fonts/TTF/, removing from list!
Could not init font path elements /usr/share/X11/fonts/OTF/, removing from list!
Could not init font path elements /usr/share/X11/fonts/CID/, removing from list!

I have seen this problem in Fedora releases 4 and 5. When I use Suse, Mandriva or Solaris I do not have this problem. Do Fedora user never use Xwindows?

Why is this a problem and how do you fix it?

I have tried downloading TrueType, 75dpi, 100 dpi and any other fonts I could find.

This should be part of the initial install and handle from the beginning.

Never tried to use that font before but is that font part of the msfont package? You might want to install the msfonts package if it is.
