Unhappy Problems with flash movie

I have a Fedora 9 pc at my oncle's restaurant showing his clients the dish of the day and other info. It is always viewing a website which refreshes itself every 15 minutes to consult a MySQL database (in case there are some modifications it will update in the next 15 minutes), all this through Firefox 3 with the FullScreen plug-in.
Until a couple weeks ago it was only php and everything worked fine, but to turn it cooler I turned this into a Flash movie which uses itself another php (as usual) to query the database.
Now every once and a while (sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after 10 hours, sometimes after a couple of days) it turns the whole screen white and stays there until either I press F5 or I reboot it. The flash movie has aproximatly 2 minutes length, queries the database each time it's loaded (and only then) and from there on keeps in closed loop until index.php refreshes itself to verify if there is a newer flash movie to be loaded.
So far I haven't noticed the ISP down or any related issue regarding the web connection.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

By the way, when I tried this stuff with an old computer running Windows, I had no problems.
But still, I would like to use Fedora.
