problems: bad EIP value during installation and afterwoods

Hello everyone

I want to intsall Fedora Core 1 on a TravelMate 280 from Acer with 512 MB of Memory. But during the installation while Fedora Core 1 is copying and installing the packets after I changed to the second cd, the screen will become red and a message about a EIP Error appears on the sreen. But I can finish the installation. But during I boot x didn't start sometimes but sometimes x will starts, so it depends!?

I open the /var/log/messages which you can read above. There was the same mistake in it as Fedora show me during the Installation.

Here is my /var/log/messages output:

I don't know what that could be ... because on all other laptops and workstation I installed Fedora Core 1 there wasn't any problems. So I will be glad if someone could give me a Link, Howto or any good advices.

I hope everyone could understand my poor English. If someone need more information or need the whole /var/log/messages I will post it here as soon as possible.

regards, Max Freeman
