Hi, I'm a complete newbie as far as Linux is concerned, I just dropped XP because I was sick of the lag I was getting with my system that should never lag (AMD Athlon 64 3200+ @3.2, 1GB DDR400, & ATI Radeon X800 256MB DDR). I am still planning on using XP for school, work etc... but I would really like to get my GCard drivers working (my FPS in the gear program is under 400) and I really dont fully understand how to install Cedega. I also would like to know how to change my screen resolution. If anyone can help me out that would be REALLY great, please catch me on AIM or email me so I can get a one-on-one sort of aid in my new adventure into the Linux world.

x800 not supported under linux yet, try back in a year. ATI graphics card support is really poor, as such I buy strictly nvidia graphics cards.

As far as your screen res, fedora has a utility in sysem tools, or you can manually edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 or xorg.conf file and look at how the other resolutions apear in the file, or you can use the xf86config program to configure it.
