I have burnt it to a DVD .But the dvd is empty after i have burnt it.i also tried to extract it using winrar ....It says "No Archive Found"
The size of the file is 2.7 gb
This image didnt mount when i used deamon tools

Something like

cdrecord dev=/dev/dvdwriter driveropts=burnfree -dao "/path/fc4filename.iso"

should work I think. There are instructions on fedora's site.

Why are you downloading FC4 though, as FC 7 is about to be released?

Hi billymayday

Thanks for your reply
I am away from net for many days so i couldnt quote ur reply

Actually the iso image that i have downloaded is corrupted
I found this after checking the md5sum

I was using fedora 5 but there are some bugs in it like add or remove programs will not work untill u change some .repo files and yum update is not working directly ......
cd/dvd are not mounting when a new cd is inserted even auto.misc file is edited

I dont know why the same errors are seen in fedora 6 also !!!!!!!

one of my friends suggested me to use older version [say fedora 4]so that it will be much stable

i am in learning stage ..So i also want to be away from these type of bugs

Bye
