Hey Guys...
I'm trying to install FC4 in a Dell Optiplex Desktop and I'm getting an error that says that it couldn't format the VolumeGroup000 (or something like that) and it says that it is a critical error and it will restart the computer.
All the installation wizard went ok, I tried it in different modes (for Desktop, Workstation, Server, Custom), and nothing, it is giving me that error when it is supposed to start formatting the HDD and copying the files from the CD to the HDD.
I just tried using the "Remove all existing partitions on the system" and using the "Automatic partitioning with DiskDruid" option.
I will try to install it making a manual partitioning of the HDD and if it doesn't work I guess I shoud try with the Text Mode Installation...
Also, I already check on the BIOS and everything seems to be OK. (The HDD is detected - 20GB, there are no rare hdd options enabled, etc).
I hope you guys can give me a clue to solve this little issue.
NOTE: That computer was running Windows2K without problems, so, I know that the HDD is OK, but anyway, I already replace the HDD and it is still the same. I did also check the ISO Image I downloaded from the Internet and the SHA1 checksum is OK, but maybe there was a problem on the burning process, I'm using EasyCDCreator 7, I don't know if you can recommend me something different to burn that CD again.
