Problem build-in web cam - glib-2.0.pc

Hi!
My situation: Fedora 13, Gnome;
Sony notebook VAIO VGN-FZ21Z, build-in web cam does not work:
Code:
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 05ca:183b Ricoh Co., Ltd Visual Communication Camera VGP-VCC8 [R5U870]
kernel:
Code:
2.6.34.6-54.fc13.i686.PAE
I tried the following and got:
Code:
[root@localhost ~]# hg clone http://bitbucket.org/ahixon/r5u87x/
destination directory: r5u87x
requesting all changes
adding changesets
adding manifests
adding file changes
added 65 changesets with 118 changes to 36 files
updating to branch default
34 files updated, 0 files merged, 0 files removed, 0 files unresolved
[root@localhost ~]# cd r5u87x
[root@localhost r5u87x]# make
cc -g -Wall -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DUCODE_PATH=\"/usr/lib/r5u87x/ucode/r5u87x-%vid%-%pid%.fw\" `pkg-config --cflags glib-2.0 libusb` -c loader.c loader.h
Package glib-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `glib-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'glib-2.0' found
loader.c:28:18: glib.h: not found
loader.c:29:25: glib/gstdio.h: not found...
Search with google: no success (error, 404 or old pages).
Any suggestion?
alfredo

There must be something wrong with your Google. Just seach using the missing header file name and you'll get dozens of hits with the answer at the end of the link. You could also use the tools that come with Fedora. Try executing the following and see if you can figure out which package needs to be installed.
Code:
yum provides */glib.h

Hi!
Sorry; after a kernel-update I found the following advice and it works now:
Code:
yum install r5u87x-firmware
Problem solved!
