Priviledge problem for Firefox

Greetings,

I have a small problem with Firefox. I running FC5 and using WindowMaker and I can run Firefox while logged in as root but not as a normal user. When I'm logged in as a normal user and try to run Firefox, nothing happens. If I 'su' and submit a password then I can run it with no problems. Any ideas? I've tried changing permissions on /bin/firefox, /usr/bin/firefox and /home/bob/.mozilla to no avail. Any ideas?
Thanks all!

It sometimes gives me a p.i.d and then returns to a prompt. Firefox doesn't start up.
I'm not sure how to fix this but I know there must be some solution.

Thanks.

It's a permission problem (most likely)

run the following commands as root on all folders containing firefox material like /usr/lib/firefox-#version-number-goes-here# and /usr/bin/firefox

chown -R root:root *
chmod -R a+rwx,go-w *

that'll fix any permission problems. Oh, replace the star (*) with /usr/lib/firefox-#version-number and /usr/bin/firefox

if that doesn't work then delete /home/bob/.mozilla (save any important stuff in there first ... duh). Sometimes one of the files in there gets corrupted and causes FF to fail to start.
