I have been using linux at home for about 2 years now.
I have never been able to print in linux however. The print preview always looks alright but then when my computer sends the message to the printer and it starts printing it comes out with huge letters and doesn´t stay in the margins that were shown on the print previews. My printer was detected automatically and it is the right one that was detected.
Any ideas as to how I can get my printer printing properly?
ps I know its not the printer cause it works fine in Windows.
have you tried downloading and installing actual printer drivers from the manufacturer, I know some of them provide linux support, otherwise search google for linux printer drivers there is a few websites that offer insight into this
