preloading apps on fedora (as on SUSE?)

OpenOffice takes so *long* to open, and I don't really like abiword/KOffice etc., so I was just wondering whether there is any way to have fedora preload OpenOffice / etc. like SUSE does?

Thanks

I really don't have a clue! I just remember when I was using SUSE before I ditched it that sometimes during boot-up / shutdown it displayed messages to the tune of:

"Preloading... OpenOffice" etc.

...and was wondering whether this is part of the actual SUSE kernel, or whether it is possible to have the same thing on Fedora. As long as you have enough RAM, then it would be a neat feature.
