Please help - cannot compile

Anyone using Network Security Toolkit v1.5? It is based on Fedora Core 5.

I could not find "make" on system or live cd. What is the package manager
to use here? "rpm" is not found either. searched hd and cd for these programs. Is this by design?

Thinking of putting on a laptop and foresee potential driver issues. If I need to load a driver into the kernel (ie. usb network adapter non-wireless) - I couldn't use http or wget to do anything. I do have a pendrive though - but where would i start?

Anyone using for firewall/router?

Thanks, newbie

make not found.
yum not found.
rpm not found.

After intense googling... i believe Network Security TOolkit does not support package management (designed to be webbased distro, i guess?).
I don't think this is what i need.

I have since removed NST 1.5

Thanks for reply

The make command is in /usr/bin and comes from the make rpm file.
The rpm command is in /bin. Lets see if you can run it with its full path.
Try it this way. ' /bin/rpm '
If this works then your paths are not set or something.

If it does not work then I am at a lost to why since rpm command does not work then I don't know how to check on installed rpms without the use of the rpm command.
