Partitioning new Hard Drive - driving me crazy

F25 setting up new Hard Drive.
Using Gparted on a new hard drive, everytime I do a Apply I keep getting a /dev/SR0p2 partition and a error message:

"Can't have a partition outside the disk"

Everytime I delete /dev/SR0p2 and do a Apply it still comes back. And I can't partition the drive.

How do I get around this problem ?

I would suggest you post an image or link to an image of the GParted window for the drive in question. /dev/sr0 refers to the CD/DVD drive.

Can you post a screenshot please?

Also, are you setting the hard drive up as MBR or GPT? Is LVM involved?

Edit: yancek beat me to it.
