.parentlock not being erased

I'm using Fedora Core 5 and for some reason, Firefox ( won't erase the .parentlock most of the time. So, I have to go into the .mozilla folder and erase it all the time. I have tried erasing all the firefox rpms and re-installing them, but it hasn't worked. Any help? Thanks a lot!

That probably means Firefox is crashing on exit. There could be a hundred reasons for that. Do you have the same problem if you use a new profile?

It actually happens with all the accounts that I have on my box. It also did this in version, as I was hoping maybe a new rpm might fix whatever the problem was...
