Overclocking CPU in FC2

my cpu processor allows overclocking. its AMD 2000+ 1.67ghz. so i overclocked it to 1.75ghz now i want to know whether FC2 really makes use of this overclocking feature and if so how do i know that it does makes use of it and performs at the overclocked level?

do i need some special software from AMD to use togerther with FC2 so that FC2 takes advantage of the overclocked cpu?

is there any feature included in FC2 for overclocking a cpu?

Overclocking is totally handled by the BIOS and the CPU itself. Any OS should run at the overclocked speed.
