Optimised Firefox

I am using a F8 x86_64 and firefox and I am finding it a bit slow. Is there an optimised version that is more responsive? The P4 version of swiftfox (2.0.0.13pre) is pretty speedy but doesn't seem to do java well. While firefox (2.0.0.10) does.
