Angry OpenGL crashing after kernel upgrade

Hi all,

I've just upgraded to kernel 2.6.3-2.1.253 and now all my programs using OpenGL are crashing on the new kernel.

Is it because the Mesa libraries are not compatible with the kernel or is it because of the graphics card drivers? I really need this fixed because I'm doing an assignment using OpenGL right now

The system is a Toshiba TE2300 Laptop with an Intel 82852/855GM graphics card.

Ok. I managed to find out that I need to recompile my DRM modules. I've checked out the DRI Project webpage, but how do I get the modules mentioned in the documentation?

The download page doesn't have any .gz modules, only says how to get the stuff from CVS, which I have never used before...

TIA for any advice on this.
