NVIDIA: been there, done that ... still problem

I am running Core 1 and I plan on sticking with Fedora (cross my fingers / I hope, because I am tired of re-install OS ... and yes, both windows and linux).

I have had very few problems with Nvidia drivers in any distro I have been running but this one ... I don't have a clue to what's wrong. The installation went OK (with CC=gcc32) and after the reboot, the logo did show up. When I try to play TUX, it works but that seem to be all that works?!?! TUX and a logo

Take a look at my output when running glxinfo and glxgears:

There's an issue with Xlib. Do I have to install/uninstall/reinstall/update this package ???

If this file(s) is'nt to blame, where to go ???

Try rpm -e --nodeps XFree-Mesa-libGL. I did after I had my driver installed. Rebooted and Wolfenstien E.T. worked then. Funny thing though if Im not mistaken I did a yum update and those three where reinstalled, and E.T. still works. Try that rpm -e command and see how that works.
